    Application Update

    From Fred:
    Question:
I had a couple of quick question about the applications. 1) When the staff is first handling the application process with the customer, they should NOT write "stored" upon the application, correct? That should only be for the person(s) double checking the applications before sending them off to central. 2)Should the staff write notes at the top of the application, (e.g. "new", "replacement", "updated", etc) or again should that be left off the application altogether?

    Answer:
There is no reason for anyone to write "Stored" or any other note(s) on the registration form.  Staff need only ensure that the registration form is completed with the requested info and signed, that the customer has only one account in the system, and that the data entry is completed (new entry or update) before the customer leaves the desk.  Any additional notes, marks, etc. added to the registration form serve no purpose for the Library and are a waste of time and effort.
