We
are now being asked to report more information on the service interruptions and
temporary closures that happen in Neighborhood Libraries.
The
criteria for closing a branch due to no heat or A/C is if the temperature is
below 60 degrees or higher than 80 degrees. You will need to give us the
temperature and the time it was taken when reporting your problem.
Also,
for all interruptions/closures, we need to report the impact on customers and
staff. Impact on customers include any programs that needed to be
canceled or no access to specific services like public wi-fi. Impact on
staff include deployment to other locations or working off-line.
Please
be prepared to answer these questions when you call to report your problem, or
when your service has been restored, and/or you are reopening.
