    TUTORIAL: How to Submit GTOR

    Hello,

As was stated in this month's staff meeting, all time-off requests should be done through the new Kronos Navigator site rather than Quick Kronos. Eventually, the "My Actions" function will be removed, so in order to prepare for the transition and minimize any issues with requests being sent and approved through Kronos, all staff are now required to send requests through the Kronos Navigator site as demonstrated in the meeting.

A brief overview of how to submit GTOR follows:

    1. You must use Full Service Kronos (also known as the "Navigator" version). The link is both on the group blog under "Staff Resources" and on Inside HPL. Link: https://coh.kronos.net/wfc/navigator/logon

    2. You can submit the request two different ways:
    • Method 1: The COH Employee Calendar Wizard (link is right above calendar).

    • Method 2: The My Requests Wizard (the link is located below the calendar. Just click on GTOR to bring the request wizard).

More instructions and guidelines on how to use Kronos Navigator, including more instructional information regarding the submission of GTORs can be found here.

Thank you, and as always, please let me or Jose know if you need any assistance going forward.

Signage for Building Closures

Hello,

Please be advised that there are now official signs that we may use whenever we must delay opening and/or close the building due to maintenance and/or building issues.

Closed Sign

Delay Opening Sign

These signs have been added to the main page of the group blog under "Staff Resources" and may be printed as needed when such issues arise and warrant the usage of the above signs.

Thank you,

UPDATE: New HVAC Contractor

Hello,

As discussed in the staff meeting on Friday, Johnson Controls (JCI) no longer services HPL branches for HVAC repair.

Please see below regarding Karrington Burnett's email:

Good Morning All,

I had a meeting with GSD and I was informed that today (9/30/15) will be Johnson Controls (JCI) last day. The new contractor is TDI and will be starting tomorrow, October 1st. TDI has made some site visits so some of you may have seen or even met some of their techs. I have not received the emergency contact number for handling after hours HVAC issues but I should have that information in the next week or so. In the meantime please contact the GSD Property Management on Call After Hours Contact number (713.213.8776) for any issues after 4pm as well as call or send me an email so I can address it. I have also sent IT an update for the Sprocket Work Order Instructions. Hopefully this transition will be as smooth as possible.

Thanks,

MR
